Yeah it’s about £86 a week carers allowance but then then it depends if the carer has a job too

I meant, if someo claims carers allowance, it’s deducted from their benefit to pay the carer

Didn't used to be
I cant even imagine. My uncle nursed mine until they passed and it really took a toll on him. Such a difficult situation. I think he needs proper care now, even the way she's speaking about his episode is horrible, he can likely hear it all.

Yeah if someone’s claiming universal credit and carers allowance. It’s deducted from their UC. It’s one or the other, they can’t have both

I think over here it's between 220 and 360 a week.
I used to receive carers allowance way back in the early 2000's, but back then I never took note of my my dad's state pension and DLA to see if there was a deduction
I'm getting annoyed
I claimed in the early 2000's so I got income support and carers allowance
Great now they are discussing Demis period 
but you'll miss all the fun
I’m not sure if it got deducted once universal credit took over
