Yeh my girlfriend said her sisters boyfriends work has been closed tomorrow. no violence yet but think we all know it will be later it happensOur office got cleared this afternoon and told not to return until Friday.
We also got a very stern email reminding us about social media conduct.
I'm hoping it's just scaremongering, I'm only seeing peaceful anti fascist rallies so far.

Someone I know posted what migrants get the other day and my jaw actually dropped, but not in a good way. A measly £49 a week, do these people REALLY think that others are risking their life for just below £50 a fing week?! x
I’m not even going to reply to the comments about the pip and benefits. Once you have met a family fleeing Syria who have nothing and can’t even feed their children. Then tell me they come here and get given hand outs!
I have also heard that's all they get, it's not anything to be envious of that's for sure.
People won’t get a takeaway in Newcastle tonight or Saturday. No shop is allowed to sell alcohol on Saturday, any shops that are going against the advice of the police to remain closed, have been told they need to be closed by 9pm. It’s a shame businesses are losing money but rather lose a days takings than lose a life

They have no idea how this is going to impact the economy now , as if things are not hard enough for the average person just trying to get by. This is going to cost us Millions , clean up , extra Policing , the courts and prisons , loss of business , growth in areas that could probably have needed it
All the little businesses are suffering. The little barber shops, convenience shops, it’s just awful. I know I take the piss sometimes and try to have a bit of bantz , I guess it's just my way of dealing with situations sometimes to try and keep a good outlook on things, but I genuinely hope everyone stays safe , at a time we need to be looking out for each other. I know the majority here have a brain cell and will stay indoors whilst all this s is kicking off, but the majority here are good people and everyone deserves to feel safe.

I'm unsure of their expenses as I don't know these people personally but all they are provided with is 3 meals a day and a basic hotel room. But again it's not about who has it worse. Or who has what to pay. Surely we both know that £50 a week doesn't stretch very far. It's not a luxury lifestyle.

I hardly have enough to pay for anything once I've paid everything , both me and my Wife work very hard and we mostly live one pay to the next , but I couldn't even imagine leaving my home country, to go to another to be given £50 a week, especially after putting my life on the line to cross different countries.
