It was going on for years though, I think I still have one season left to watch as I kinda think it went on for a little too long and I would sometimes get a little bored and distracted. I remember when it first came out and everyone loved it as it was so good and there was such a buzz about it. You have all inspired me to finish it now though, and then start the spin offs x

I won't watch the spin offs until we've finished watching every season because I'll be gutted if i spoil it. I didn't even know anything about it until Judas mentioned it so I gave it a go and i thought no one else knew about it so I looked a right fool when everyone said they'd watched it years ago.
I love it someone told me the other day that me watching zombies all the time is toxic and unhealthy but Iv genuinely loved the whole franchise and will probably watch it again!
