You can look it up but I don't believe it's a reason they definitely find it harder learning to swim, I think it's just a theory. But another theory could be minority groups don't always have the same privilege as other groups and a block of swimming lessons at school simply isn't enough, some kids are more privileged and get to practice those skills outside school, holidays, swimming baths. Some kids just don't.I hate to admit it but this is the fist time I've ever heard that theory. I did think when that teacher said it in Angie's that she was being ridiculous.
Can't watch her if she's gona battle all night so boringEQ is on the booze this evening
She's talking a mile a minute, you can tell she's going to be a t to someoneCan't watch her if she's gona battle all night so boring

My dad thought I could swim and pushed me in the pool on holiday the stupid t. Try and push me now though mother f, I can swim like a fishMy dad threw me in a swimming pool when I was a child and told me to swim or drown. That’s how I learnt to swim
I can swim really well but I can't ride a pushbike got no sense of balance whats so ever.I can’t swim. Had about 20 lessons and still didn’t get it. I kept panicking anytime my head went under water.

That's really sad actually. I was privileged and still am. I remember when I was at school, the teachers were blatantly racist. Seems crazy to think they got away with it.You can look it up but I don't believe it's a reason they definitely find it harder learning to swim, I think it's just a theory. Either way that's not the reason pools were race segregated.
But when she said well they are just left in the little pool, that was wild. Because I was the kid left in the little pool, when I couldn't get the hang of swimming mostly sensory issues I was left with flaoties to do about with no real encouragement.
I can't swim either. I remember nearly drowning in the local swimmers when I was a kid. The wave machine came on and i had followed my mates who culd swim to the deep end. I had to be fished out, and i had ring sting for days from the chlorine in the water giving me the runsI can’t swim. Had about 20 lessons and still didn’t get it. I kept panicking anytime my head went under water.
And now my internet isn't working, so I went onto Facebook to see if it's just me and was greeted immediately with a memory from 9 years ago reminding me that I'd forgotten it was my previous dog's birthday. I'm done with today. Everyone go do yourselves.
