Let me tell you from experience, broken ribs are excruciating. Even with morphine I struggled to even breathe, absolutely no way would you be laying flat on your back speaking full sentences.

It's not a problem though because I know when someone re- enters a chat group it can feel quite odd as the dynamics change.
