Always the way isn't it with people like her, they're ok to change their own rules but we must live by them!People like mel wonder why they get called outHer stories have holes like swiss cheese, she says one thing then does another, she's created a supposed safe space for victims which is just a place for her to vent about her family, when people do share their stories she isn't interested & doesn't have any skills or desire to help or signpost them. She does long lives where she takes money donated & she shows more emotion about the money than she does about people's trauma. Then what's happened this week, which even if her brother is involved in sharing info, the facts he's sharing still remain and she's trying to distract people from the facts to focusing on her brother instead. There seems to be 5 people she's estranged from, I'd say she's lucky only 1 is speaking out, if that's who is speaking out.
Her switching from rigid black & white thinking to open minded grey area thinking about her main abuse subject screams extreme double standards & totally undermines her Tik Toks. Sorry for the long rant, she's made me so angry.
I have been SA & I sometimes feel like speaking up & telling my story & not even mentioning the person/s name/s but I know how that would affect not only me but my children, husband, family, friends, work colleagues, even my neighbours!
I'm not saying you shouldn't share but you've got to be aware before doing so that you risk a lot of people thinking they know a lot more about your life & throwing their opinions in.
