I reckon also the photo with staples is of a past experience or a photo she stole of a SH website or Facebook page . Just my theory 
Normally at this time of year she would be high as a kite getting ready for Jamie's ""birthday party"" and being the centre of attention
That last party she had for ""Logan"" was tragic, half a dozen people who looked like they would rather be anywhere else, so she realises no one is really interested anymore and there is no one left to attend, she has alienated everyone save a couple of relatives and they arent pandering to her ridiculous notions now either. It's all slipping away, only her & her mother recognise/remember Jamie at his birthday etc Her small world is getting even smaller

I suppose we will get the blame for ruining Jamie’s birthday. We got the blame for no more parties. And sure we knew this time was bad for her being only a week til his birthday.
