It’s a pitiful shame she can’t do a video saying…

“Hi guyzzzz!! I just want to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone in my comments who gave great suggestions about how I can make my curry even nicer and more authentic. There were so many great ideas, including bringing out the flavours of the spices and onions even more. I appreciate all the advice and recommendations, especially from those of you who culturally have grown up eating curry made by your relatives recipes, often having some great handed down tips! I’ll make a note of some of the suggestions and little tips so I can look forward to using some of them when I cook my 2nd curry!”

THAT would be the reaction of a secure and kind person.
💯 and we’ve said it again and again on here but her reactions to comments are not that of a professional content creator. It’s really not good enough to behave like that. People are going to expect a certain level of effort with your content and ability to take comments on board. There was also no reason to mess up such basic steps when there are many good recipes around which she should have spent time researching. Many food creators will be professional and graciously take feedback especially if someone from the culture tells them it is wrong. I always noticed even before the Reddit or CC days she behaved so badly compared to others regarding feedback and it was off putting.

Browning off onions first is pretty basic! I bet it tasted rank, but she enjoyed shovelling it down her gob, alternating spoonfuls of ‘curry’ then poppadom. She eats like food is gonna be taken off her! I eat rushed at work because I would probably get called away at some point, but that’s because I’m at work, in a pwopa job!

Literally searched “chicken curry recipe” on TikTok and none of them start with frying the chicken first and then adding onion 🥴

I think she chews (or rather doesn't chew) her food quickly so she can carry on talking... her indigestion system must be shot to bits!!! ... i know when I have a meal with friends and family (rather than eating dinner/tea etc) I take ages to finish as I am chatting and taking my time between mouthfuls

BeggyShitTits needs to swallow like a Labrador so she can speak and get the next shovel the next forkful in.

That’s what I was thinking 💀 Comes across like a teenager… It shouldn’t be difficult for her to say it was a misstep for her to cook the chicken first but she’ll never have the maturity to admit it

Adding the chicken stock is a big no. It doesn’t need stock and wtf was that coconut milk all about. Similar background to you and that’s not how curries are made. Aldi are doing some good curries at the moment she should’ve bought it all from there lol
Never in my life of making curries have I added Chicken stock to any curry! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

💯👍🏽 She should learn from her mate Ayni. I commented on one of her curry videos a while back to seal the chicken in sauce before adding water and she actually thanked me for the tip and said she would try that next time. Sevda is so defensive jeez 🙄

Sevda.

Here’s an easy basic basic basic curry recipe for you (not how I authentically cook Pakistani curry but I’ve made it as basic as I can):

-Brown onions in oil (the more onions you add the more curry sauce/base you will get at the end
-Add spices (I would pick up a shop ready made spice mix to make it easier) and fresh garlic fry them off slightly and add a tin of chopped tomato’s and let that cook for a few minutes
-Add chicken and cook (on high) till everything has all dried up
-Add potato’s (if you want) then add some water and simmer
-add fresh coriander and your curry is done.

Again this is a basic recipe but generally that’s the gist of it.

Enjoy! (And also if you do ever decide to do it this way, don’t say a troll told you, because I genuinely want you to be able to cook a semi decent curry and enjoy it).

The other day she said ‘they’re gonna come for me..’ Does she not realise when she says this that she’s referring to the exact people that watch her and religiously follow her. I think in her head she thinks she’s got 2 completely different audiences. Its like slagging of the people that have helped her to get her where she is. Also I’m glad she’s finally realised that the people on instagram are also toxic, they are the pretty much the same people that follow her on TT. She’s so dim I swear

Basmati rice is famous for being fluffy and when it cooks up all the grains stay separate. Hers looked like slop! It was all glued together because she put way too much water
Yep that rice looked soggy and clumpy 😭 Also the chicken stock in the curry 💀 I’ve never seen anyone putting stock in curry… No wonder it was so watery and the texture was all wrong. And using leftover E Coli Grill Turkish garlic sauce as a side instead of raita 🤣
