Oh yeah that’s true, he could just transfer her the money back… Depends on what the Mr Spud guy is like, I don’t know enough about him to say if he’d be in on something like that.
We won’t know what happened in the end but the whole thing is a bit dodgy and the right thing to do would have been to donate directly to the charity. Donating through a second party is weird and there’s no proof it actually ended up with the charity.
In terms of accusations, it’s hard not to be suspicious when both Sevda is sus for giving to a second party and the Mr Spud guy is weird for accepting the money to donate on her behalf. He’s enabling her display of donation for her ego instead of telling her to donate directly to the charity.
