Been to too many to mention team events and my sphincter claps shut with cringiness at the "fun" activities they dream up, but there's always ones like her that you do eyerolls at, that throw themselves right in there because it's the only interaction they normally get with people who are not yet sick of their se. I'm so weird now at choosing what nights out I'll go to. At one time it was raves and afters, sometimes in total randoms gaffs. Much prefer wee nights at the pub or camping with my closest people. Feel drained at nights out with acquaintances never mind strangers. That event is my idea of hell.

In a past life I worked for several blue chip companies who knew how to do events. Not these kids parties or Brendan trying to be a DJ in an afternoon. Once had huge vases of stuuuuuning flowers on the tables that had goldfish swimming in them. Anyway this week, back to work for 4 days after a fabulous 2 weeks in the sun now I’m off to Glasgow tomorrow for a weekend of socialising with a few friends
