In her clap back she’s mistaking what ‘giving back’ truly is. It’s not buying high end presents and giving them away to increase content and keep the toothless mafia hooked or doing Dunelm tags for the same reason. Giving back to me is donating to a food bank, volunteering for a charity or good cause, it’s spreading joy in the community and helping those in need. It’s good deeds you do because you care and are kind. Which she doesn’t and she isn’t. All the freebies and PR stuff she gets, donate it to women’s shelters etc not have it cluttering your hovel of a home to be chucked in a skip months later.
And do we want creators to do good deeds and give back without telling anyone? Yes. If you’ve done a good deed and given back but no one believes you why would you care?
