I remember I was 8 when I knew. I was a crafty little sod, I suspected, and I found my presents in my parents wardrobe . Is Ela really still believing in Santa? Nothing wrong if she does (I was very upset when I realised Santa didn’t exist) however, I do believe he exists, in some form, as in the gesture of giving and receiving gifts is a lovely thing, and it’s the spirit of it, and keeping it feeling magical, if that makes any sense!!!! Incidentally, my sons have deodorants for their stockings, however they are expensive brand ones (not showing off, it is more of a treat, than their normal day to day one). I’ve even got them a couple of cans of j2o each!!! Because, they like it and I’d not seen it in cans before, so a bit of a novelty, and it bulks the stockings out a bit .
