My best friend has a child exactly like max, his bed is specially made, it's almost like those soft blocks in children's play areas only it's a bed and his mattress fits in the middle, so he doesn't hurt himself, she also had a stair gate at the top so he won't fall or go down in the night, she's able to let him run around while she trys to sleep a little more because he is safe and she's taken the precautions needed. Melatonin also didn't work for him but she hasn't mentioned trying phenergan. That's another drug that can be used for their sleep. Shebjust makes excuses, she uses him as part of her identity but she doesn't put anything into him. She almost expects him to conform to her life rather than her to his.
