must admit, she had me at one point! i actually felt for her when she was showing max toys and she was trying to explain why she had bought what she had and if anyone ‘got her’…. now as a sen parent in that moment i totaly did! and i felt for her! THEN the t started to talk about his toileting to 1.6k strangers and i remembered why i dislike her

On Tattle there was a comment about how he is basically none the wiser about Christmas etc. And you know what, that's absolutely gutted me.
If she had made the effort from when he was diagnosed and listened to the experts, this wee lad could be enjoying Christmas and visiting santa etc. Show cards and visual aids and makaton if she put the practice in and stuck at it. No-one would ever claim it's easy but to not even try is neglectful to not teach him a way to communicate.
