Not many people that have been abused as children go on to be abusers themselves, however, a large number of child abusers were abused as children. How can this be possible, you may be thinking? Because there are more children that get abused than there are adults that abuse children.
Let me do this in mathematical formats you may understand
You buy a large number of bottles of red wine. A lot of that red wine goes on to do its job, you drink your wine and everyone’s happy. Unfortunately, of that red wine, some of it ends up spilt on your carpet along with cigarette ash and your piss. But just because of the stains on your carpet, a large percentage is red wine, doesn’t mean all your red wine ends up on the damn carpet
