Off to a beach rave in a few weeks and half jokingly said to my best mate yesterday (a straight man in his mid forties) that I’d better get myself beach body ready… his response? ‘You are beach body ready. You have a body. Take it to the beach. Job done.’

R to @BootstrapCook: (PS I am actually fairly neutral/ambivalent about my body 99% of the time but decades of social conditioning and low self esteem do sometimes rear their heads, and I think it’s important to acknowledge that most of us can be momentarily insecure about nonsensical things!)
