R to @nigecunningham: Coming! Had to put it on yesterdays diary page as the chicken went on todays. It’s 2 tbsp cream cheese and 4 tsp pesto but I want to weigh them to calculate costs, hence why they’re blank here. Basically decant into bowl/mug including oil from can, mix well with fork, enjoy!
Today I made a mackerel pesto pate, roasted a with a new seasoning combo I’ve been meaning to try for ages, + slowcooked black beans with + + lots of . Cooking makes me happy, the irony is when I really need to do it I forget that. Slowly slowly getting there.
R to @MarchMcr: It’s called being cared for by good friends, I’m not sure you’d understand the concept, but there’s not a drug in the world that comes close to being loved and supported. Sorry to disappoint, and all that, but the only chemical high in this household is cuddles and dopamine.
R to @nigecunningham: I had it on crackers, dunked cucumber and celery and radishes in it, and had it on toast with cheese then popped it under the grill. All v good! Making more to use as a pasta sauce for cold lunchbox type thing tomorrow, maybe with a bit of mayo to loosen it. New fave thing!
Did this about a week ago - two old supermarket box dyes I found under the stairs while (still, endlessly) decluttering. Didn’t entirely cock it up, so, that’s something.
