RT by @salihughes: …and those were just the ones I could fit into one tweet.

This isn’t a cost of living crisis.

This is a cost of voting in a Tory government crisis.

R to @GillCraigie: You can post up to 15 minutes from your phone - just press the plus button and select "Post" not reel (it will save in your reels menu regardless). If longer than 15 mins (mine usually are), you have to do the same thing from a laptop rather than phone app.

RT by @salihughes: Yesterday I was arrested by @HertsPolice whilst covering a protest on the M25.

I showed my press card, and I was handcuffed almost immediately. My phone was snatched out of my hand. I was searched twice, held in a cell for 5 hours, and I wasn’t questioned whilst in custody.

RT by @salihughes: It was absolutely terrifying being in a cell with a pad for a bed in one corner and a metal toilet in the other. I was just doing my job.

What’s also terrifying is what this means for press freedom. It was blindingly obvious I was a reporter.

Thank you for the kind messages x

R to @BrazierMary: I abandoned at episode three. Husband kept watching. Just caught one he was despairing over. I can’t believe it actually got *worse*.
