R to @teaforpterosaur: @Jsoosty Revolting. Also, why is every single table always filthy and laden with rubbish? Fork out for some more staff, you billionaire mingers.

R to @Jsoosty: Everything in there is sticky. It’s gross. They have the same customers as everyone else. They appear to be cheap with staffing. Someone can’t make coffee, take money and wipe tables simultaneously. Pay another person from your five quid frappes.

R to @PepsScialacomo: Totally disagree - you’ve been unlucky. Pret is reliably very clean. And teeming with staff. Plus loads of independents, smaller chains. Starbucks is in a completely different league. I’m shocked if it’s not filthy. There has to be literally nothing else close by for me to go in.

R to @Jsoosty: Yeah I definitely think people should put their rubbish in the bin. Goes without saying. But coffee shops are all dealing with the same public - the rest keep their premises clean by paying for sufficient staffing, rather than skanking customers for a fiver to sit in a skip.

R to @PepsScialacomo: I must also say that food in Starbucks is inedible. And costs fortunes. It’s sub-petrol station fare. Why anyone would choose it over Pret is baffling.

R to @seyiakiwowo: Agree. I see them on the menu and think “Oooh, yes please”, forgetting that they are invariably disappointing.
