Russia continues its aggression - and therefore, the support for Ukraine must be continued. We must take long-awaited steps to accelerate the coming of peace. There are three of them. I noted this during my address to the participants of the G7 summit.

The first is a new force. Ukraine needs modern tanks, constant artillery support with guns and shells. We need more rocket artillery and more long-range missiles. The more effective we are with such weapons, the shorter the Russian aggression will be.

The second is a new resilience. We must maintain financial, energy and social stability next year. Should we not lose in these aspects, we will win in everything else.

The third is a new diplomacy. Ukraine has always led the negotiation process and did everything to stop Russian aggression. Now we feel the opportunity to use diplomacy to bring the liberation of all our people and all our territories closer.

Ми маємо бути свідомими того, що Росія не відмовилась від цієї своєї тактики терору. Відсутність масованих ракетних ударів говорить лише про те, що ворог до них готується і може ударити в будь-який час. Хоча очевидно, що і без світла ми добре знаємо, куди стріляти і що звільняти, Росія все одно надіється на блекаути. Це остання надія терористів...

Тож, поки в них є ракети – а вони ще в Росії є, – будь ласка, сприймайте серйозно всі попередження від українського військового командування, від наших Повітряних сил і сигнали повітряної тривоги. На всіх рівнях маємо бути готовими до будь-яких ворожих намірів. І зробимо все, щоб пройти цю зиму.

Я дякую всім, хто допомагає Україні! Дякую кожному й кожній, хто працює заради нашої перемоги! Слава всім, хто воює за незалежність! Вічна памʼять кожному українцю, чиє життя забрала ця війна!

We should all be aware that Russia has not given up its terror tactics. The absence of massive missile strikes only means that the enemy is preparing for them and can strike at any time. Although it is obvious that even without light we know well where to shoot and what to liberate, Russia still hopes for blackouts. This is the last hope of terrorists...

So as long as they have missiles - and Russia still has them - please take seriously all warnings from the Ukrainian military command, from our Air Force and air alarms. At all levels, we must be prepared for any hostile intentions. And we will do everything to get through this winter.

I thank everyone who helps Ukraine! I thank everyone who works for our victory! Glory to all who fight for independence! Eternal memory to every Ukrainian whose life was taken by this war!

Цієї осені було зроблено багато, щоб посилити позиції держави і щоб окупант втрачав. Маємо робити все, щоб і після цієї зими можна було сказати те саме. І яким би масштабним не був терор окупантів – наше бажання відновити все в нашому домі завжди було ще масштабнішим. Так має бути й надалі.

Під час конференції «Солідарні з українським народом» сказав про конкретні речі, які потрібно узгодити і які не тільки допоможуть Україні вистояти зимою, а ще й максимально наочно доведуть будь-яким антидемократичним і антиєвропейським силам, і в першу чергу – Росії, що Європа навчилась не допускати катастрофи і захищати своїх людей.

Перше. Ми потребуємо кількох категорій обладнання: це трансформатори, обладнання для відновлення високовольтних мереж, газотурбінні та газопоршневі енергоблоки.

Друге. Як мінімум до завершення цього опалювального сезону в Україні ми потребуємо аварійної підтримки з боку європейської енергосистеми.

Третє. За аналогією зі спостережними місіями МАГАТЕ, які домовлено направити на всі атомні станції України, закликаємо Євросоюз направити спеціальні місії на обʼєкти критичної енергетичної інфраструктури, які задіяні в енергозабезпеченні України і від яких прямо залежить стабільність усього нашого регіону.

Четверте. Ми потребуємо підтримки для закупівлі близько двох мільярдів кубометрів газу.

Пʼяте. Іншим практичним результатом цієї конференції могла би стати домовленість про фінансування проекту із закупівлі LED-ламп для України.

І шосте. Нам потрібен спеціальний постійний механізм координації зусиль – Паризький механізм. Який дозволить давати вчасні та ефективні відповіді на кожен виклик російського енерготерору.

During the «Standing with the Ukrainian People" conference, I spoke about specific things that need to be agreed and that will not only help Ukraine survive the winter. They will also prove as clearly as possible to any anti-democratic and anti-European forces, and primarily to Russia, that Europe has learned to prevent catastrophe and protect its people.

First. We need several categories of equipment - these are transformers, equipment for restoring high-voltage networks, gas turbine and gas piston power units.

Second. At least until the end of this heating season in Ukraine, we need emergency support from the European energy system.

Third. By analogy with the observation missions of the IAEA, which have been agreed to be sent to all nuclear power plants of Ukraine, we call on the European Union to send special missions to the objects of critical energy infrastructure, which are involved in the energy supply of Ukraine and on which the stability of our entire region directly depends.

Fourth. We need support in the purchase of about two billion cubic meters of gas.

Fifth. Another practical result of this Conference could be an agreement on the financing of a project to purchase LED lamps for Ukraine.

And sixth. We need a special permanent mechanism for coordinating efforts - the Paris Mechanism. This will make it possible to provide timely and effective responses to every challenge of Russian energy terror.

Подякував Президенту Європейської ради Шарлю Мішелю за запрошення виступити на засіданні #EUCO 15 грудня. Обговорили роль ЄС та держав-членів у реалізації формули миру. Вдячні за збільшення на 2 млрд євро Європейського фонду миру та розблокування нової фінансової програми обсягом 18 млрд євро. Відзначив необхідність швидкого схвалення 9-го пакету санкцій. Поінформував про прогрес у виконанні рекомендацій Європейської комісії. Скоординували подальші кроки щодо руху України до членства в ЄС.

Thanked President of the European Council Charles Michel for the invitation to speak at the #EUCO meeting on December 15. We discussed the role of the EU and member states in the implementation of the Peace Formula. We are grateful for increasing the European Peace Facility by EUR 2 billion and unlocking a new financial program in the amount of EUR 18 billion. I stressed the need for quick approval of the 9th package of sanctions. I informed about the progress in implementing the recommendations of the European Commission. We coordinated further steps regarding Ukraine's movement towards EU membership.

Під час Українсько-французького форуму зі стійкості та відбудови України розповів про наші потреби. Зосередився на кількох напрямах.

Перший – Чернігівська область нашої країни, той регіон, шефство над яким Франція вже взяла. Частина роботи вже ведеться. Зокрема, Франція вже надала нам допомогу у відновленні мостів. Але і для Французької держави, і для французьких компаній є на порядок більше можливостей і проектів, які потребують реалізації.

Другий напрям – благодійна робота. Сьогодні Фундація Олени Зеленської буде представлена у Франції, усі напрями роботи. Це освіта, охорона здоров’я та гуманітарна допомога. За кожним із цих напрямів можуть проявити себе люди, громадські обʼєднання й компанії Франції.

І третє – економіка. Уже згадана мною Чернігівська область і всі інші регіони нашої країни потребують нової економічної основи життя.

Що скоріше й результативніше ми обʼєднаємо міць України та Франції, то більше виграємо від цього й то надійнішим буде мир, який зможемо повернути Україні і всій Європі.

During the Ukrainian-French forum on Ukraine’s resilience and reconstruction, I spoke about several directions of our needs.

The first is the Chernihiv region, which France has already taken patronage over. Part of the work is already underway. France helped us in the restoration of bridges. But for both the French state and French companies, there are much more opportunities and projects that need implementation.

The second direction is charity. Today, the Olena Zelenska Foundation will be presented in France, all areas of its work: education, healthcare and humanitarian aid. In each of these areas, French people, public associations and companies can show themselves.

And the third is the economy. The Chernihiv region and all other regions of our country need a new economic basis for life.

The sooner and more effectively we combine the power of Ukraine and France, the more we will benefit from it and the more reliable peace will be, which we’ll return to our country and all of Europe.

Зруйновану економіку та інфраструктуру можна відбудувати. Але зруйновану природу не відбудуєш, як не повернеш знищене життя. Сказав про це під час звернення до парламентарів Нової Зеландії.

Станом на зараз 174 тис. кв. км української території забруднені мінами й боєприпасами, що не розірвалися. Морська акваторія Чорного й Азовського морів також забруднена мінами і втратила сотні тисяч живих істот, які загинули внаслідок бойових дій та активності російського військового флоту. Усе це й інші прояви російської екоцидної політики матимуть прямі негативні наслідки для мільйонів людей, для нашого регіону й сусідніх регіонів.

Тому я закликаю вас підтримати у вашому парламенті українську формулу миру й розпочати консолідацію світу заради восьмого пункту формули – протидії екоциду. Проявити лідерство в міжнародних інституціях, зокрема в ООН, і на двосторонньому рівні з іншими державами, щоб світ побачив і цей виклик російської війни. Не буває справжнього миру там, де відбувся екоцид і його наслідки не подолані.

36 років тому ліквідатори наслідків аварії на Чорнобильській АЕС захистили не лише Україну, а й увесь світ, майбутнє всіх нас.

Сьогодні наші захисники і захисниці знову в обороні нашого майбутнього. Цього року Росія створила нові загрози, які могли б перевершити навіть ту найстрашнішу аварію.

Ніколи не забудемо подвиг ліквідаторів і нікому не дозволимо знехтувати ціною, яку Україна і світ заплатили за ліквідацію наслідків аварії на ЧАЕС.

Вічна шана героям Чорнобиля за їхній подвиг!

36 years ago, the liquidators of the consequences of the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant protected not only Ukraine, but also the whole world, the future of all of us.

Today, our defenders protect our future again. This year, Russia has created new threats that could surpass even that most horrible accident.

We will never forget the feat of the liquidators and we will not allow anyone to neglect the price that Ukraine and the world paid for the liquidation of the consequences of the Chornobyl accident.

Треба діяти вже зараз, щоб притягти до відповідальності всіх, хто розвʼязав війну, і щоб не допустити будь-якого повторення агресії. Це буде найефективніший захист свободи, прав людини, верховенства права та інших наших із вами спільних цінностей. Сказав про це під час вручення хороброму народу України премії Європейського Парламенту імені Сахарова за свободу думки.

Вдячний усім лідерам і державам, усім політикам і міжнародним організаціям, які працюють разом з нами та докладають усіх можливих зусиль для створення трибуналу щодо злочину агресії Росії проти України.

Трибунал має запрацювати. Коли будь-який потенційний агресор знатиме, що покарання за злочинну війну – неминуче, це буде найефективніший інструмент превенції війни.

We must act now to hold to account all those who started the war and to prevent any repetition of aggression. This will be the most effective defense of freedom, human rights, the rule of law and other common values of ours. I said this during the presentation of the European Parliament's Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought to the brave people of Ukraine.

I am grateful to all leaders and states, to all politicians and international organizations who are working together with us and are making every possible effort to create a tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The tribunal must start working. When any potential aggressor knows that punishment for criminal war is inevitable, it will be the most effective tool for war prevention.

Із лютого 184 українські спортсмени загинули від дій Росії, а сама вона використовує спорт із пропагандистською метою. Сказав про це під час розмови з президентом Міжнародного олімпійського комітету Томасом Бахом. А також закликав МОК сприяти відновленню зруйнованої Росією спортивної інфраструктури України. Справедливою відповіддю для країни-терориста може бути лише повна ізоляція на міжнародній арені. Зокрема, це стосується і міжнародних спортивних заходів.

Since February, 184 Ukrainian athletes have died as a result of Russia's actions, and Russia itself uses sports for propaganda purposes. I said this during a conversation with President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach. I also called on the IOC to contribute to the restoration of the sports infrastructure of Ukraine destroyed by Russia. A fair response for a terrorist state can only be complete isolation in the international arena, in particular, this applies to international sports events.

Спокою на передовій немає. Нічого легкого й простого немає. Кожен день і кожен метр даються надзвичайно тяжко. І особливо там, де вся тактика окупантів зводиться до знищення артилерією всього перед собою, щоб залишалися тільки голі руїни й воронки в землі.

Росія знищує на Донбасі місто за містом – як Маріуполь, як Волноваху, як Бахмут. Оборонятися в таких умовах – це не просто героїзм, це щось більше. І я дякую всім нашим воїнам, які витримують тиск окупантів.

Хочу зараз відзначити бійців 46-ї окремої аеромобільної бригади, які дуже майстерно й хоробро розбили ворога під час чергової атаки та змусили його відступити. Молодці! Хочу також відзначити бійців 80-ї та 95-ї окремих десантно-штурмових бригад, які воюють на Кременському напрямку, і дуже результативно. Дякую вам, воїни!

Дякую нашим зенітникам і Повітряним силам за відбиття сьогодні вранці чергової атаки іранськими дронами. Небо Київщини обороняє 96-та зенітна ракетна бригада Повітряних сил – дякую вам, хлопці!

Слава всім, хто воює за нашу державу! Слава всім, хто наповнює своєю сміливістю й результативністю слово, яке звучить зараз по всьому світу, – слово «Україна».

There is no calm on the frontline. There is nothing easy and simple. Every day and every meter is given extremely hard. And especially where the entire tactic of the occupiers boils down to the destruction of everything in front of them with artillery - so that only bare ruins and craters in the ground remain.

Russia is destroying city after city in Donbas - like Mariupol, like Volnovakha, like Bakhmut. Defense in such conditions is not just heroism, it is something more. And I thank all our warriors who withstand the pressure of the occupiers.

I would like to note the warriors of the 46th separate airmobile brigade, who very skillfully and bravely defeated the enemy during another attack and forced him to retreat. Well done! I would also like to note the warriors of the 80th and 95th separate airborne assault brigades who are fighting in the Kreminna direction - and very effectively. Thank you, warriors!

Thank you to our anti-aircraft gunners and the Air Force for repelling another attack by Iranian drones this morning. The skies of the Kyiv region are defended by the 96th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Air Force - thank you, guys!

Glory to all who fight for our country! Glory to all who fill with their courage and effectiveness the word that is now heard all over the world, the word - Ukraine.
