I have just signed the decrees on awarding posthumously the policemen whose lives were taken yesterday in the Kherson region by Russian mines.

They did everything for the safety of Ukrainians. Already returning after completing one of the tasks, when they removed weapons and ammunition from the cache of the occupiers, many of which were left in the Kherson region, the policemen stumbled upon a mine trap.

And this is the form of Russian terror that will have to be countered for years to come. Terrorists deliberately try to leave behind as many death traps as possible. Buried landmines, tripwire mines, mined buildings, cars and infrastructure...

I am sure: this will be among the charges against Russia for aggression - precisely mine terror. Which is even more cruel and meaner than a missile one, because there is no anti-mine system that could destroy at least part of the threat, as our air defense does.

I am grateful to all our partners who help Ukraine with demining. I thank everyone who strengthens our state and helps our people!

Українська формула миру сформульована так, що її пункти дають кожній державі й кожному лідеру змогу обрати той аспект, у якому може спрацювати рішучість саме цієї держави й цього лідера. Щоб крок за кроком ми прийшли до необхідної нам архітектури безпеки. Сказав про це під час звернення до TRT World Forum 2022.

Гарантувати радіаційну та ядерну безпеку. Гарантувати продовольчу безпеку. Гарантувати енергетичну безпеку й зупинити божевільний російський ракетний терор. Гарантувати звільнення всіх полонених і повернення всіх депортованих.

Українська формула миру чітка. Чи має вона нереалістичний вигляд? Аж ніяк. Вона має зараз такий саме вигляд, який у травні цього року мали ідеї поновити зерновий експорт із наших морських портів. Уже в липні експорт був поновлений – завдяки нашій із вами могутності.

Хай ця могутність спрацює і в усьому іншому, що потрібне для миру!

The Ukrainian Peace Formula is formulated in such a way that its points allow each state and each leader to choose the aspect in which the determination of this particular state and leader can work. So that step by step we achieve the security architecture we need. I said this while addressing the TRT World Forum 2022.

Guarantee radiation and nuclear security. Guarantee food security. Guarantee energy security and stop the insane Russian missile terror. Guarantee the release of all prisoners and the return of all deportees.

The Ukrainian Peace Formula is clear. Does it look unrealistic? Not at all. It looks now just as the idea of renewing grain exports from our seaports looked in May of this year. Already in July, exports were resumed - thanks to our joint power.

Let this power work in everything else that is needed for peace!

Звернувся до учасників міжнародної конференції «UA: Права людини за темних часів».

Розповів, що злочини російської держави на території України і проти українців безпрецедентні з часів Другої світової війни. Для відновлення справедливості нашій державі потрібна максимально можлива співпраця з правозахисною спільнотою та з міжнародними партнерами. Має бути єдиний правовий фронт, який здолає російську геноцидну політику.

І тому закликаю всіх державних посадовців та всіх представників громадянського суспільства, які дбають про людей і людяність, представників міжнародних правозахисних організацій та агенцій працювати зараз скоординовано, на всіх рівнях, разом заради відновлення порушених війною прав українців і для притягнення агресора до відповідальності. Маємо знайти таку формулу співпраці, щоб був максимальний результат для України і для міжнародного правопорядку.

I’ve addressed the participants of "UA: Human Rights in Dark Times" international conference.

I’ve noted that the crimes of the Russian state on the territory of Ukraine and against Ukrainians are unprecedented since World War II. To restore justice, our state needs the maximum possible cooperation with the human rights community and international partners. There must be a single legal front that will overcome Russia's genocidal policy.

And that is why I call on all government officials and all representatives of civil society who care about people and humanity, representatives of international human rights organizations and agencies to work now in a coordinated manner, at all levels, together - for the sake of restoring the rights of Ukrainians violated by the war and to bring the aggressor to justice. We have to find a formula for cooperation that will provide the maximum result for Ukraine and for the international legal order.

Фронтова ситуація залишається дуже важкою на ключових напрямках на Донбасі – Бахмут, Соледар, Марʼїнка, Кремінна... На землі цих районів вже давно не залишилось живого місця – не ушкодженого снарядами і вогнем. Окупанти фактично зруйнували Бахмут – іще одне місто Донбасу, яке російська армія перетворила на випалені руїни.

Я дякую усім нашим героям, усім солдатам і командирам, які тримають фронт на цих напрямках, відбивають атаки і завдають ворогу відчутних втрат – у відповідь на те пекло, яке зайшло в Україну під російським прапором.

Слава кожному і кожній, хто воює за Україну! Дякую всім, хто працює заради наших людей!

The frontline situation remains very difficult in the key areas of Donbas – Bakhmut, Soledar, Maryinka, Kreminna... For a long time already there is no living place left on the land of these areas – undamaged by shells and fire. The occupiers actually destroyed Bakhmut, another Donbas city that the Russian army turned into burnt ruins.

I thank all our heroes, all soldiers and commanders who are holding the frontline in these directions, repulsing attacks and inflicting significant losses on the enemy – in response to the hell that entered Ukraine under the Russian flag.

Glory to everyone who fights for Ukraine! Gratitude to everyone who works for the sake of our people!

Ключове за сьогодні – енергетика. Дуже складна ситуація в Одеській області. Після нічного удару іранськими дронами Одеса та інші міста і села регіону в темряві. Станом на цей час більш ніж півтора мільйона людей на Одещині без світла. Підключена лише критична інфраструктура – і настільки, наскільки є можливість постачання електрики.

Загалом у різних областях продовжуються як аварійні, так і стабілізаційні відключення. Енергосистема зараз, мʼяко кажучи, дуже далека від нормального стану: у системі зберігається значний дефіцит. Саме тому є графіки відключень. Найбільше – у Львівській, Вінницькій, Київській, Тернопільській, Сумській, Закарпатській, Житомирській і Хмельницькій областях і в Києві.

Треба розуміти: якщо навіть немає масованих ракетних ударів, це не означає, що немає проблем. Майже щодня в різних регіонах є обстріли, є ракетні атаки, атаки дронами. Майже щодня бувають влучання в енергообʼєкти. Через втрати в системі доводиться зменшувати ліміти всім у системі. Дуже важко дається і відновлення. Але все ж таки наші енергетики й комунальники роблять дійсно героїчні речі, за тижні відновлюючи те, що взагалі-то вимагало б місяців роботи.

І я дякую кожному й кожній, хто працює, щоб повернути світло та зберегти енергосистему. Так само я дякую всім, хто усвідомлює, наскільки важко нашим захисникам неба, наскільки важко ремонтним бригадам і енергетикам, наскільки важко всім, хто захищає наше з вами життя.

The key for today is energy. The situation in Odesa region is very difficult. After the night strike by Iranian drones, Odesa and other cities and villages of the region are in the dark. So far, more than 1.5 million people in Odesa are without electricity. Only critical infrastructure is connected and to the extent where it is possible to supply electricity.

In general, both emergency and stabilization power outages continue in various regions. The power system is now, to put it mildly, very far from a normal state – there is an acute shortage in the system. That is why there are blackout schedules. The largest number is in the Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Ternopil, Sumy, Zakarpattia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky regions and in the city of Kyiv.

It must be understood: even if there are no heavy missile strikes, this does not mean that there are no problems. Almost every day in different regions there are shelling, there are missile attacks, drone attacks. Energy facilities are hit almost every day. Due to losses in the system, everyone in the system has to reduce the limits. Recovery is also very difficult. But still, our energy and utility crews are doing truly heroic things, restoring in weeks what would have required months of work.

And I thank each who is working to restore power and save the power system. I also thank everyone who realizes how hard it is for our defenders of the sky, how hard it is for the repair crews and very hard for the energy workers, how hard it is for everyone who protects our lives.

Провів засідання Ставки. Ситуація на передовій, відновлення енергетики, розвіддані про плани і розрахунки окупантів, внутрішні виклики. Усе детально опрацьовуємо.

Тривають відновлювальні роботи на півдні нашої країни – робимо все, щоб повернути світло Одещині. Станом на цей час в Одесі та інших містах та районах області вдалося частково відновити постачання. Робимо все, щоб вийти на максимум можливого в умовах після російських влучань.

Київ і область, Львівщина, Вінниччина, Тернопіль і область, Чернівці і область, Закарпаття, Сумщина, Дніпропетровщина – ситуація залишається дуже складною. Працюємо постійно з партнерами, щоб полегшити її і дати нашим людям більше можливостей, більше електрики.

І ще одне. Рішенням Ради національної безпеки і оборони України застосовані санкції проти семи осіб. Робимо все для того, щоб держава-агресор не мала жодної ниточки, за яку могла би смикати українське суспільство.

I held a meeting of the Staff. Frontline, energy infrastructure restoration, intelligence data on the occupiers’ plans, internal challenges. We work everything out in detail.

Restoration continues in the south of our country - we’re doing everything to restore the light supply to Odesa. We’ve already partially restored it in Odesa and other districts of the region. We’re doing everything to achieve the maximum possible after the Russian hits.

Kyiv and the region, Lviv region, Vinnytsia region, Ternopil and the region, Chernivtsi and the region, Zakarpattia, Sumy region, Dnipropetrovsk region - the situation remains very difficult. We’re constantly working with partners to mitigate the situation and give our people more electricity.

By NSDC decision, sanctions were applied against 7 people. We’re doing everything to ensure that the aggressor state doesn’t have a single string of society to pull.

Поспілкувався з Президентом США Джозефом Байденом. Подякував за безпрецедентну оборонну та фінансову допомогу, яку США надають Україні. Це не лише сприяє досягненню успіху на полі бою, а й підтримує стабільність української економіки.

Цінуємо і допомогу, яку США надають на відновлення енергосистеми України. Сподіваюсь на подальше поглиблення співпраці у цій сфері. Наголосив на важливості формування ефективної протиповітряної оборони для України. Потрібно зробити все можливе для захисту мирного населення України та її критичної інфраструктури. Це особливо важливо саме зараз, коли в Україні розпочався зимовий період.

Дякую за підтвердження готовності підтримувати Україну стільки, скільки буде необхідно, а також за чітку та послідовну відданість Сполучених Штатів принципам суверенітету і територіальної цілісності нашої держави у міжнародно визнаних кордонах.

I had a phone call with U.S. President Joseph Biden and thanked for the unprecedented defense and financial assistance that the U.S. provides to Ukraine. This not only helps succeed on the battlefield, but also maintains the stability of the Ukrainian economy.

We also appreciate the help that the U.S. provides to restore Ukraine's energy system. I count on deepening cooperation in this area. I emphasized the importance of forming capable air defense for Ukraine. It is necessary to do everything possible to protect the civilian population of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure. This is especially important right now, when the winter period has begun in Ukraine.

Thank you for confirming willingness to support Ukraine as long as necessary, as well as for the United States' clear and consistent commitment to the principle of sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state within internationally recognized borders.

Росія продовжує агресію, а отже, має бути продовжена й підтримка України. Маємо зробити давно очікувані кроки – те, що прискорить настання миру. Їх три. Сказав про це під час звернення до учасників саміту G7.

Перший крок – нова сила. Україна потребує сучасних танків, незмінної підтримки артилерією, гарматами та снарядами. Ми потребуємо більше реактивної артилерії та більш далекобійних ракет. Що результативнішими будемо ми з такою зброєю, то коротшою буде російська агресія.

Другий – нова міцність. Маємо зберегти й наступного року фінансову, енергетичну та соціальну стабільність. Не програти в цьому – це виграти в усьому.

І третє – нова дипломатія. Україна завжди була лідером переговорних зусиль і робила все, щоб зупинити російську агресію. І зараз ми відчуваємо можливість використати дипломатію, щоб наблизити звільнення всіх наших людей і всіх наших територій.

Дякую G7 за історичну підтримку! Слава Україні!
