No matter where the heads of diplomatic missions live and work abroad, they must still live in Ukraine and for Ukraine. No matter where they are on a working trip, they should still be with Ukraine and feel Ukrainians. I said this during the Conference of Ambassadors of Ukraine "War and New Horizons in the World".

We must constantly create new opportunities for our state. We are already restarting relations with dozens of African countries. We have to strengthen them next year.

Global growth and international stability in this century cannot be imagined without relations with Africa and other parts of the Global South: Latin America, India, other Asian countries, in particular China and Southeast Asia, the entire region of the islands of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Ukraine must find the format of its leadership in strategic processes in every region of the world, and the role of the diplomatic corps of Ukraine will be decisive.

It is necessary to bring the capacity of Ukraine to a new level in the foreign policy of emergency situations. We need such a tool that will allow Ukraine to be the subject of response to crisis situations in the world. Our presence should be felt by everyone, everyone should be interested in our help. To this end, we are preparing the creation of the Ukrainian International Aid Agency, which will expand the geography of our influence and create additional lines of cooperation with partners.

I held a meeting of the Staff today. It was as always substantive.

We are preparing for the coming months and next year in general. Our tasks are unchanged. It is the liberation of our land. Safety for our people. Restoration of our country after the Russian strikes. These are the elements of the Ukrainian victory, which we are approaching step by step.

We heard today the commanders' reports at the Staff meeting. We see prospects at the front. We are preparing for different variants of actions of the terrorist state, we see its intentions. And we will respond. The situation in the energy sector was discussed separately.

And please remember who is fighting against us. With the approaching holiday season, Russian terrorists may become active again. They despise Christian values and any values in general. Therefore, please heed the air raid signals, help each other and always take care of each other.

Вітаю зі світлим святом Різдва християн західного обряду!

Сьогоднішній день та всі прийдешні зимові свята ми зустрічаємо в непростих обставинах. Хтось побачить сьогодні першу зірку в небі над Бахмутом, Рубіжним, Кремінною. Хтось зустріне свято в чужих домівках, але не в чужих людей – українців, що дали прихисток українцям. Хтось почує «Щедрик» іншою мовою – у Варшаві, Берліні, Лондоні, Нью-Йорку, Торонто та в багатьох інших містах і країнах. А хтось зустріне це Різдво у неволі, але хай памʼятає, що ми йдемо й по цих наших людей, ми повернемо свободу всім українцям і українкам.

Хоч би де ми були, ми будемо сьогодні разом. Ми загадаємо бажання. Одне на всіх. І відчуємо радість. Одну на всіх. І зрозуміємо істину. Одну на всіх.

Ми будемо відзначати свої свята! Як завжди. Ми будемо усміхатись і радіти. Як завжди. Відмінність одна: ми не будемо чекати дива, адже творимо його самі.

Today and all future winter holidays we meet in difficult circumstances. Someone will see the first star in the sky over Bakhmut, Rubizhne, and Kreminna today. Someone will celebrate the holiday in other people's homes, but strange people's homes – homes of Ukrainians who gave shelter to Ukrainians. Someone will hear Shchedryk in another language - in Warsaw, Berlin, London, New York, Toronto and many other cities and countries. And someone will meet this Christmas in captivity, but let them remember that we are also coming for our people, we will return freedom to all Ukrainian men and women.

Wherever we are, we will be together today. We make a wish. One for all. And we will feel joy. One for all. And we will understand the truth. One for all.

We will celebrate our holidays! As always. We will smile and be happy. As always. The difference is one. We will not wait for a miracle. After all, we create it ourselves.

Короткий звіт про сьогоднішній день – ще один день іще одного тижня нашого спротиву.

Перше – фронт. Бахмут, Кремінна та інші напрямки на Донбасі, які потребують зараз максимуму сил і концентрації. Ситуація там важка, болісна. Окупанти витрачають усі доступні їм ресурси – а це значні ресурси, – щоб вичавити хоча б якесь просування. І я дякую усім нашим хлопцям, які стоять на позиціях, стоять міцно і які все ж знаходять можливості, щоб не тільки нічого не втратити, але й вибивати окупантів, «мінусувати» їх.

Друге – це енергетика. Сьогодні я провів спеціальну нараду з урядовцями щодо ситуації в енергетиці й інфраструктурі. Готуємося до наступного року, і не лише до зимових місяців. Є загрози, які маємо усунути. Є кроки, які мають бути зроблені. І держава їх обовʼязково зробить.

Третій пункт. Провів сьогодні розширену нараду щодо підсумків візиту в США та реалізації домовленостей. Час втрачати не будемо. Усе, про що домовились у Вашингтоні, реалізуємо швидко. Настільки, наскільки можливо.

A brief report on today – another day of another week of our resistance.

First. The front. Bakhmut, Kreminna and other areas in Donbas require maximum strength and concentration. The situation there is hard. The occupiers use all resources – significant resources – to squeeze out at least some advance. I thank all our guys who hold their positions firmly, stand strong and find opportunities not only to not lose anything, but also to oust the occupiers, to "subtract" them.

Second. Energy. I held a special meeting with government officials on the situation in energy and infrastructure. We’re preparing for the next year – and not only for the winter months. There are threats that we must eliminate. There are steps that need to be taken. And the state will take them.

Third. I held an extended meeting on the results of the visit to the US and the implementation of the agreements. We won’t waste time. We will quickly implement everything agreed upon in Washington. As much as possible.
