I learnt a long time ago you can't even trust friends, as most people will say 'promise you won't tell anyone but you know so and so....' if its truma you don't want people knowing and need to talk to someone there's lots of free help lines out there. Just goes to show how inappropriately comfortable people have gotten on tiktok. Does the fact that you need 800-1000 followers before you can host a live not tell them that it won't be "private"?
Putting your account on private doesn't mean you're controlling who can listen in. If you want a PRIVATE conversation then get off the social media platform & use Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp etc. Use an app that allows you to password protect, to choose the participants, to limit eavesdroppers. fing being outraged because someone has screen-recordings of you oversharing in public. 
Tiktok is THE PUB, THE CAFE, THE BUS STOP, THE SUPERMARKET AISLE. You can gossip and dish the dirt as much as you want, but you gotta always be aware that you don't know who else is listening.
