If that thing was on my head, one: I don’t think I would ever be seen in public & would be desperately trying to get the docs to do something about it and two: If I had to be seen in public, I would be doing my hair to bloody cover it or wearing a hat or something.

I think she's mentioned that the NHS won't touch it because it's cosmetic. I think she's showing it off in the hope somebody will either offer to pay, or do a colab with a private clinic

Yeah, come to think of it, that makes sense. My son had a keloid for years, I had to keep on going back to the doctor numerous times before they agreed to remove it. At first they wanted me to pay for plastic surgery, even though he was a minor!
I just couldn’t personally have it on show like she does. She’s got a lot more confidence than I do that’s for sure
