I think it's as simple as she's moving from an infant school to a junior school.. my son did the same thing after finishing in year 2. Some schools are primary schools and the kids stay there right from reception level( aged 4 ) until year 6( age 11) when they leave to go to secondary school, big school ( lol) high school, whatever we want to call it ! Where we live , has a primary school at one end ( Church of England school and some parents think they are so more superior sending their children there ) and an infant school and a junior school at the other end . Both of mine did infant and moved onto junior school.. they all end up at the same secondary school eventually anyway
