I 100% guarantee she's not got flu. She's got a seasonal bug.
I've had flu once in my life - proper influenza, not a winter bug - and I was quite literally incapacitated for over a week.
We've all had the seasonal bugs that do the rounds at this time of year numerous times and they do make you feel lousy but they are nothing like the actual flu and they're nothing that regular paracetamol and fluids can't control.
I was so ill when I had flu my Mum took my son for several days because I quite literally couldn't do anything. I was shivering, sweating, clammy, beyond exhausted and even trying to get to the bathroom was a mountainous task. I was in my late 20s, extremely fit and healthy but it absolutely floored me.
But Melvyn, being the hypochondriac that she is, has diagnosed herself with flu
She's a medical marvel because not only has she got flu, her body is so healthy that she's displaying no symptoms of it whatsoever AND she's managing to create, edit and upload TikToks at the same time.
