I’ve always had my children’s friend over. I’m not a believer in leaving anyone out, so often a large group. Having them all for tea, sleepovers etc. I think that's a completely different situation though. Plus due to both mine and hubs volunteering commitments, we do both have up to date...
Also if you’re going to be looking after children you should have an enhanced dbs. Next year a new dbs checking app is going to be released. It will update in live time finally

When my oldest was at primary school. A friend of his, mum was sent to prison for loads of things she had done to a 14 year old boy! It was her son’s friend ffs. Thankful her son already lived with his grandparents and my son had never being around her etc.
I once seriously thought about getting a monkey but it wouldn’t be fair to have one as a pet. So now I just dream of the farm I will own when I win the euros (which I never put on) 😂
