R to @TonyEva92385840: I LOVE your explanations.

I never tire of them. I always forget, and have to call you up, but I still love listening to that calm, slow voice explaining.

Like when you told me not to go on holiday with a nail in my tire.

This morning we were stuck at a red light forever and I said to Ella:

Me:This is easily two Prime Ministers long"

E(eye roll)You are such a Gen X nerd with your bad jokes.

M:(hurt face)

E: How about we say it's almost as long as Nevada counting their vote?

M:Gen Z nerd!

R to @TonyEva92385840: Lol you mean what Elsie said last night out of the blue?

It was SO FUNNY I nearly fell off the bed.

Pity we can't repeat it! 😂😂😂

R to @TonyEva92385840: Yes and the Gen Z that Ella is part of absolutely loves it.

For a while she was calling me Boomer though. I had to sit her down and give her a history lesson!

R to @TonyEva92385840: None of them are. They sort of developed organically.

But Gen Z's are really into the whole thing. Ella laughs at Elsie because Elsie is a "Gen Alpha"

I couldn't give two ss myself because you and I are Gen X and they will always be the best ones😂

R to @PenguinMac1: I do see your point. I was forced too. But from 5. I hated it. I was actually very good, at one point. But I never stopped hating the fact that I had to do it all the time.

My parents were unyielding.

With my own kids I gave up after a few lessons. Too cruel!
