R to @DemocraticDesp1: It's impossible to make a profit on a PUBLIC transportation system.

When you say "I'll give you a few dollars to take you to the park" - that's not pubic transportation. That's private enterprise. That's fine. That works.

When you try to sell the buses off - not so much.
