I was bought up in care in the 70's and social services was shocking and they still are. But this mum is very unhinged

I know the mother seems unhinged but the kid seems to really want to be left at home

Me too, so much. It’s very frustrating that his voice is not being heard by the police but I don’t think his mother is helping

We don’t know what the police will do. They may well do that
Poor kid is gonna be even more traumatised
The whole thing will be traumatic for these kids and even in this situation the police aren't right. Those kids shouldn't be taken back to their foster carer like said.

I do know what the police will do, I'm experienced in this field. They told the children they were taking them back to their Forster carers and it doesn't really matter if they are saying they are being abused. It does matter.
