R to @BootstrapCook: She’s not finished yet, but I thought you might like to see her progress. ☺️

R to @GillianRodgers8: Very, thankyou . Non-strenuous, repetitive tasks are incredibly soothing when my head is all scrambled - usually I’ll organise my bookshelves or pair all the rogue socks or something but all the books are packed, so I had to find something else to do! ☺️

R to @jamesbgalbraith: I very nearly did the corny ‘sometimes all it takes is one person to see your potential’ tweet and I resisted but….there it is! 😆

R to @UnicornsRockUK: I’m not using it for water - I’ll likely plant something in it

R to @BootstrapCook: (I’ve not started on the lid, just popped it in so you can see the difference! Bottled lemon juice, standard table salt ground up super finely in the blender, an old toothbrush, washing up liquid + cheap dishcloths/flannels or rags to polish it. And patience, and Peaky Blinders)

R to @DaleMatthews: This works, I’m going to use it on the base I think. It got a couple of charity shop Le Creuset pans that were caked with gunk underneath back to spangling new with very little effort - can highly recommend it!

R to @Tintenfische1: I’m getting there slowly - along with charity shop enamel finds that I seem to be accumulating along the way as well!

R to @hagopalice: Oh my goodness I have that exact goblet on the right. It was my grandads, he used to use it as an ashtray in the alley of the guest house, and now it’s my ‘thingies’ pot in the hall (well cleaned!)

R to @hagopalice: Also that coffee grinder is reminding me of my fave ever episode of Repair Shop ☺️ thanks for the fuzzy feels this morning 🥰

R to @hadjab: Thankyou! Now I’ve got the thick gunky layers off, I’ll use that combo for the rest of it. 🥰

R to @BrigidS97040457: It’s been hours and hours of (gentle, lovely) work - I just wanted to see if I could clean it up a little bit and then kept going - never expected it to look like this when I started!!

R to @tara_oshea: I LOVE Barkeepers Friend - it’s one of my non-negotiable cupboard staples! Glad to meet a fellow fan 🥰

R to @ItsMingyJongo: Ha! SB has not-so-subtly left his jar of old/foreign coins out on the side - I think I’ll be busy for a while with those! 🤣 But I can’t recommend this enough - mindless enough to do in front of the telly, and very very satisfying when the gleam starts to poke through the murk

R to @SupahSpankeh: It can be used to change the pH level in the soil apparently - an old neighbour of mine buried increasing piles of 2ps in their border to make their hydrangea change colour, it was absolutely beautiful. But anyway, I’d put a plant pot in the teapot if I decided to use it
