🇷🇺🇦🇪 Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Al Nahyan

🔸The conversation covered topical issues of further development of Russian-Emirati cooperation, taking into account the agreements reached during the summit in St Petersburg on October 11. Special attention was given to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation, including in the transport, logistics and energy sectors.

🔸The effectiveness of joint work within OPEC Plus to ensure the stability of the world oil market was highlighted. It was also noted with satisfaction that all Member States are consistently implementing the decisions they approved. In this context the sides touched upon the situation concerning the attempts by some Western countries to impose anti-market restrictions on the price of Russian crude oil, which is contrary to the principles of world trade.

🔸In addition to his earlier message, the Russian President as once again congratulated President of the UAE Mohammed Al Nahyan and the Emirati people on the UAE's Foundation Day.

Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of the Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. Highlights:

🔹A rehabilitation support system for those injured in the special military operation will be set up soon at the federal and regional levels.

🔹Russia will consistently fight for its national interests in various ways, focusing on peaceful means.

🔹Talk of extending mobilisation does not make sense; it is not needed at this time.

🔹Starting in January 2023, medical workers employed in primary healthcare will receive additional payments of between 4,500 and 18,500 rubles, depending on their job and function.

🔹Russia's nuclear forces are in a more advanced state than those of any other country – however, Russia will not brandish its nuclear weapons, as it sees them solely as a means of defence.

🔹 A special programme should be launched in Russia's new territories to provide assistance to citizens and rebuild housing.

Vladimir Putin took part, via videoconference, in the opening ceremony of a number of new and reconstructed transport infrastructure facilities

New motorways, as well as sections of roads where major repairs have been completed, are opening in the Vladimir, Sverdlovsk, Moscow and Voronezh regions, as well as in North Ossetia.

“We can now review some of 2022 performance results. This year will certainly set a record for the volume of asphalt paved on regional and local roads - about 165 million square metres. Last year was quite productive too, with around 162 million square metres of improved road surfacing. But this year has seen growth, slight, but still noticeable. It is especially important for regional and local roads,” the President said.
