The heads of CIS member states visited the State Russian Museum

The leaders of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan toured part of the main retrospective exhibition in the Mikhailovsky Palace. The museum's director, Vladimir Gusev, led the tour.

The State Russian Museum opened in 1898 and has the world’s largest collection of Russian art, with over 400,000 exhibits spanning over 1,000 years, from the 10th to the 21st century.

The President fulfilled Alexandra's wish to visit Father Frost's house. The girl and her parents flew to Veliky Ustyug, toured the city and met with the New Year's magic gift-bringer. Alexandra told the President about her impressions of the trip.

The President signed an Executive Order on special economic measures in the fuel and energy sector in connection with the price caps on Russian oil and oil products set by some states

The sale of oil and oil products to foreign legal entities and individuals are prohibited when the terms of these sales contracts directly or indirectly include the use of the price limit mechanism.

Sales of oil and oil products prohibited under this Executive Order may be carried out upon special decision of the President of the Russian Federation.

The Executive Order comes into force on February 1, 2023 and is valid until July 1, 2023.
