The President will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame in the Hall of Military Glory at the Battle of Stalingrad Museum and Reserve on Mamayev Kurgan.

Later, Vladimir Putin will speak at a concert to mark the 80th anniversary of defeating Nazi troops in the Battle of Stalingrad.

The President will also meet with members of public patriotic and youth organisations at the Battle of Stalingrad Museum and Panorama.

In addition, the agenda includes a working meeting with Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov.
