The latter suggest that natural gas has been and will remain for a long time a key natural resource, a true asset, the demand for which will only grow. Over the past 30 years, global natural gas consumption has almost doubled, and according to experts, it will gain at least 20 percent more in the next 20 years, maybe even more. In the so-called transition period, the demand will be enormous, with more than half of that projected increase coming from the Asia-Pacific, first and foremost, China, given the high pace of its economic growth," the President said.
