At the end of his working visit to Astana, Vladimir Putin answered media questions on the development of cooperation in Central Asia, meetings with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and on the progress and timeline of the partial mobilization

"There are no plans at the moment to hold direct talks with any members of the G20. We maintain constant contact with some of them, as you know. We have just spoken about the position of Turkiye, the Turkish President. Turkiye is also a member of the G20. We are in constant contact with them as well as some other colleagues. We have not discussed such issues with the US President," the President noted.

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to current and former road industry workers on Road Workers’ Day

"I want to note with satisfaction that road industry workers meet their professional holiday with good results: hundreds of kilometres of federal and regional roads are being built and upgraded, the basic network of motorways is being improved, new logistics technologies are being widely introduced and traffic safety is improving. Your next major challenge is the large-scale road construction plan for 2023-2027 and ambitious and much needed tasks on building and upgrading motorways, bridges and interchanges as well as orbital roads around large cities and towns,” the President’s message reads, in part.

Vladimir Putin held a Security Council meeting

"As we know, the Kiev regime refused to recognise the will and choice of the people, declining any proposals for talks. On the contrary, shelling continues and civilians continue to die. The neo-Nazis are using plainly terrorist methods, plotting sabotage at essential facilities, attempting to murder members of local authorities. Just like their ideological predecessors - Bandera's followers and Hitler's accomplices, they are trying to create a criminal underworld, sending sabotage groups to our territories. The Ukrainian intelligence services plotted the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. We managed to prevent terrorist attacks in other Russian regions, specifically, at mass gatherings, on public transport, at energy facilities, including - and I want to stress this - at nuclear energy facilities," the President said.
