Russia's tourism industry is growing fast, boosting its appeal and progressing to a new level.
Russia has immense historical and cultural potential as well as environmental attractions for the long-term development of its tourism sector.
The common goal for the state and for business is to ensure greater quality in tourism services and infrastructure, and strive for the best standards of convenience, accessibility and safety.
A draft law on VAT exemptions for tour operators should be considered and adopted by the end of the parliament's current spring session.
Efforts should also include facilitating a concept for developing automobile tourism as well as projects to launch year-round seaside resorts. We should aim to provide the highest level of service in terms of price and quality, the equal of the world's best, and even surpass them.
An option should be promptly introduced for foreign tourists to obtain an e-visa for major tourist destinations.

We need a targeted policy for comprehensive promotion of Russian brands at all levels, including both traditional and new media. Every region must have a programme to promote local brands.

Russia’s trade with SCO member states has increased by over one third, or 37 percent, reaching a record high of $263 billion last year. In January to April this year, it went up by another 35 percent. We are using national currencies for mutual settlements more widely. In particular, over 80 percent of commercial transactions between Russia and the People’s Republic of China are made in rubles and yuan. The share of the Russian national currency in export transactions with all the SCO countries exceeded 40 percent in 2022,” the President pointed out.

The Graduate School of Public Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) was set up in 2013 to provide training, retraining and advanced training of management personnel in the public administration system, as well as to create and develop personnel reserves at all levels.
During the implementation period of this programme since 2017, 50 of its participants have become heads of Russian regions, while more than 200 have received new appointments in the federal government. Graduates serve in both houses of parliament, the State Duma and the Federation Council, as heads of key committees and deputy speakers. They also work in the Presidential and Government executive offices as well as in major corporations such as Sberbank, Rosneft, Alrosa and others.

On June 28, the President took a working trip to Dagestan where he talked to local residents. Raisat Akipova was unable to speak with the President at the time.
"When I left Derbent, I was shown a picture of you crying. Of course, I am unable to talk to every person in the square, but your picture upset me. And since I cannot leave Moscow often, I decided to invite you and your mother and father here," the President said as he welcomed the family to the Kremlin.
