On November 9, Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to Kazakhstan

The President of Russia will hold talks with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during which the leaders will discuss key issues related to the further development of bilateral relations of strategic partnership and alliance, prospects for interaction within integration associations in the Eurasian space, as well as current regional and international matters.

Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part, via videoconference, at the plenary session of the 19th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum, which will be held in Kostanay.

A number of important joint documents are expected to be signed based on the results of the visit. The leaders will also make statements to the media.

The President was shown the new nuclear medicine building. The new facility, which opened in early November, is going to increase the volume of high-tech medical services. The President also visited the rehabilitation and therapy wards, where he briefly talked to the patients.

The Rogachev Research Centre is one of the world's leading facilities for the treatment of oncological and haematological diseases in children. The decision to create it was made in 2005 after Vladimir Putin met with 10-year-old leukaemia patient Dima Rogachev; the new centre was subsequently named after him.
