Founded in 1938, the pilot school offers higher education programmes in five military specialisations: operational-tactical, long-range, military transport and naval aviation. Since September 2017, the education institution has been training female students.
The President was shown flight simulators in one of the classrooms.
Vladimir Putin also congratulated the female pilots on International Women's Day.

The 5th Leaders of Russia national management competition features 102 winners from 31 regions of Russia and two foreign countries, Belgium and Serbia.
The competition has been held since 2017. Over this time, more than 470 people have won various tracks of the competition. Six of the winners received appointments as deputy federal ministers and heads of federal agencies; five became heads of regions, and ten became heads of cities and municipalities.

The President launched two major construction projects via videoconference: the 7th power unit at the Leningrad NPP and a high-speed railway between Moscow and St Petersburg
The first project is aimed at building one of two new reactors to replace the decommissioned LNPP units and increase the plant’s generating capacity.
The new railway will cut travel time between the two capitals to two hours and 15 minutes.
