President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called Vladimir Putin and expressed his heartfelt condolences on the monstrous terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. He conveyed words of sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.
The Belarusian leader emphasised that the people of Belarus stand together with the people of Russia in this time of sorrow, and offered any assistance that may be needed.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the organisers and perpetrators of this heinous crime will face inevitable punishment.
For his part, Vladimir Putin informed his counterpart about the apprehension of the terrorists directly involved in the attack, as well as about the ongoing investigation.
The leaders expressed mutual readiness to continue close cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
