I remember being offered certain things after the accident , Zopiclone was one of them for short term use , I was petrified of using them , was given 5 and I still have 3 left (They're probably OOD now) just dealing with tramadol alone has been hard enough and my empathy towards those on some of these higher class drugs has never been so strong
Tramadol has a bad reputation, I have a friend who has been on them for years and she is absolutely fine, until she misses a dose. Please don't stop taking them if they are helping you to manage your pain. It's giving you a quality of life and people seen to be so hard on themselves because they are having to depend on medication.
I am on morphine and I also get prescribed oxycontin -I refuse to take the oxy they are just as bad as Diazapam, I do take the morphine- but very, rarely
Please don't beat yourself up over it.
Life can change like a flick of a switch and it can happen to ANYONE.

I agreed with my specialist I'd `try` and lower them , I needed to lower them to a point I could function without being sleepy , I don't ever see myself not taking them to some degree , they helped me loads after the accident , I wouldn't have been able to go through some of the physio without them , they were my best friend at one point x

Dogs can take human Tramadol. I used to be amazed when owners came out of the vets to pay and they have a large box of Tramadol. Doctors only usually give a month's supply at a time

Dog are given a wide range of meds that we use. Including antibiotics and diazapam which they prescribed for dogs that have a nervous disposition, especially around bon fire night.

MT trying to make bullying Canadian Angie a funny subject. Pathetic
I don't know if many people put Cockerputyourshitinthebin and Mother Theresa in the same category. But I do.

Both actually talk down to people quite a lot. Superiority complex. Listen to MT when arguing with someone. Just talks louder and tries to use big words.

does anyone that takes gabapentin find they don’t work that well after being on them a while?
Your body can build a tolerance to pain meds, so you have to continually increase the dosage just to get the same pain relief you had when you first started taking them. Contact your Gp they might increase them or try you on an alternative pain med. It is common, though.

Yeah I’m on 900mg 3 times a day atm. I’m thinking of asking the gp for an alternative.
