This is not me speaking on behalf of Judas, as in it’s my thoughts and none of it has been said to me.

I believe this comes down to the subject matter, the horrific core issue - child abuse. That’s a super triggering subject for most adults. It can make us more emotional than factual, when discussing it. If the central issue was a stolen handbag - I doubt there would be much, if any emotion.

I don’t think it was micro analysed, it’s much more simple than that. Judas witnessed an awful conversation about a tragic case and several other members did too and left the thread for the evening. When they then spoke of about this, bumped posts etc because you’re investigating it so to speak, you didn’t acknowledge what they had to say.

Looking at your last sentence: you didn’t acknowledge that your friend met the famous person. Maybe you did mentally but did you vocalise it? That’s why it comes across as not believing them.

but you’re saying essentially Baigette didn’t say “I believe what you’re saying can you get me a screen record”. Instead her response came across like she was questioning the retelling of the live?
I often reply to stuff saying “is there a recording” without saying “I believe that your account is true” first. Tbh I would only ever acknowledge that I DIDNT thignk the account of what happened was true. Like “I can’t imagine cockerpoo said that are you sting me”. Otherwise I’d just say “do u know if there’s a rexording”

So perhaps: baguette didn’t think it necessary to confirm she believed it?

Here are my thoughts.. clearly that Lisa and her kids have been through something very traumatic and they are vulnerable. Do I think she has got the wrong person? Yes. But I think to go and accuse her of lying, and then even messaging Cockerpoo, seems to me a little excessive, as she is obviously suffering at the moment. There’s no denying that Cockerpoo has been a nasty t over it, mocking it when it’s such a sensitive subject. She should have shut all this down at the start of it. We are all different people with different opinions at the end of the day and no one should be leaving here!

So the fact that I didn’t outwardly say ‘I believe you’ was an issue, and instead of asking me if I believe them, a presumption was made that I don’t believe them, despite complete lack of foundation that I didn’t believe them, it was entirely presumptive, and this has escalated into.. this?
