R to @RobinPettitt: It’s on my list, would love recommendations! Going to explore one new place a week minimum - sometimes a weekday morning with the dog; sometimes a weekend en famille, sometimes a school holidays camping trip. This will be our Wild Year 🌳

R to @TuskanDeVille: Congrats lovely. Welcome to life on life’s terms. I’ll ping you my number in case you ever need to check in with a sober friend - in my experience you can’t have too many of us to hand 🥰

R to @BootstrapCook: PS - those asking about the 183 books. I did at least 161 last year, aided by sweet, sweet insomnia, burnout, depression and lots of long train journeys for work - here they are!

R to @ChrissieClarky: God I look incredible, especially considering I’m running on an average of 0-3 hours sleep a night at the moment 😚🙃🥰 My dog has shrunk though 🤣

R to @SirBenfro: Almost 300 police procedurals, crime fiction and thrillers in 2 years - it’s a good job this is a digital bookcase not a physical one else I think my friendly local cops might be asking some uncomfortable questions 🤣

R to @plant2plateuk: Tana French, Karin Slaughter, MJ Arlidge, Jane Casey, Denise Mina all featured highly last year - v moreish all of them!

R to @BootstrapCook: Also ‘Something In The Water’ by Catherine Steadman was probably the best book I read last year - out of over 161 of them - absolutely brilliant. Twisty, gripping, makes you question your own moral compass throughout and root for everybody and nobody in turn. Highly recommend!

R to @karen_dossett: Oh I love her, I have some of her physical books and many more on my digital TBR list for this year. Brilliant human, compelling narrator. Excellent recommendation 🥰

R to @PurpleTrace: Yes, I have the physical copies of all of her books - and I adored Again, Rachel ☺️

R to @plant2plateuk: I try to make an effort to read more female authors than male ones, there are many excellent women in crime/thriller fiction so I’m rather spoiled for choice!

R to @Petra_von_K: Because it made him smile. We try to document as much of that stuff between us as possible and share it with each other 🥰

R to @mistymeana: She is apparently HALF of her adult size now. No regrets 🥹
