@BootstrapCook I noticed today that Sainsburys have launched its Inspired to Cook range, where 50p for every product sold will be donated to help tackle food poverty. Is it just me, or is encouraging people to buy lots of food to help out those who can't afford food a bit weird?

So Sunak thinks that by launching a legal challenge he will cover up the utter devestation he's caused to millions of #Excluded mentally and financially with many suicides.

R to @RobOConnor: Lol all QT guests get £150, no matter who they are. I’ve never been paid ten grand for a talk in my life - that was an error when I signed with a new agency as it’s standard for someone with my experience/profile, but it’s certainly not what I get paid 😂

R to @BylinesEast: Absolute hogwash, spouted by someone who clearly hasn't done the slightest bit of research on how robots and AI are actually used, which for £10,000-£15,000 an appearance is a bit sloppy.

Very good observation from Jack Monroe on how as kids we grew up being sold the idea that AI would do the minimum wage backbreaking work, freeing up human beings to make art, create etc. But the reality is quite the opposite

Some of the @noticepro cast have been on about doing something related to AI recently.

Perhaps we need @BootstrapCook to write it for us!

This observation is so beautifully put!

R to @danielgoyal: (They started after I called out the IEA for their energy funding on national television, and were aggressively retweeted by lead people at the IEA for a while. But I’m not a conspiracy theorist, so that’s probably a huge coincidence, right?)

R to @EllaB1111: Your conspiracy theories aside, your comment just popped up on my notifications. Usually don’t engage with such obvious attempts to derail. Amazed so many people fall for these attacks on people calling out greedy corporations.

R to @616Popey: And to be clear: Matthew here isn’t a lawyer, he’s a software developer. He didn’t ask for a refund, and hasn’t provided any options over the course of this action for me to pay. Refused to provide a proper address to the court (just his business one), no email address, and no contact number to settle this. He signed up deliberately to instigate this course of action knowing I was behind on Patreon rewards, and has obfuscated and played the process at every single point to get the outcome he wants.

He threatened to come to one of my talks a while back; I literally brought him his money in an envelope to pay him back. He failed to show up despite repeatedly contacting the organisers to attempt to intimidate them and me. He’s a sad, strange, despicable human being, but Mr Matthew Heath can have his five minutes of fame that he so desires. He’s paid enough for it, after all.
