RT by @salihughes: NO @JeremyClarkson you haven’t ‘put your foot in it’ you’ve exposed once more the base venal misogynist racist violent revolting nature of your being! What you said was disgusting
RT by @salihughes: Try replacing Meghan’s name in that Clarkson bilge and see how it reads. Kate, Camilla, Sophie, Charlotte, Elizabeth, your own name maybe. See how it reads then. What should flow from it? I’d call the police if it were my name.
Me and some pals have an occasional covers band - weddings, parties, anything. Due to all of us having worked in 'the biz' we've brought in some powerful ringers to sing with us over the years...
Completely implausible lines of dialogue in The Crown, number 86389 in a series: a young William on the phone to his mother from Eton, saying “I’ve *gotten* used to it”.
Not *quite* as absurd as a senior palace official saying to George V in 1918, in relation to an urgent message from the Tsar in Russia, “Shall I go back with a ‘no’?” #TheCrown
R to @Sock_Monster: At least Star Wars admits to being fantasy rather than history. I mean, once people are fighting with lightsabers in outer space, I’m content to suspend my disbelief.
R to @cardiffbites: It’s gone very “Chanel 5 true story” hasn’t it? It’s a shame, because the acting, sets, costumes etc are still exceptional. The writing though . It’s like they’ve been told to make it easy enough for a child to understand.
