R to @madii1984: I didn't say there was anything wrong with it though? There's nothing wrong with an American saying "Fall" to describe what we call "Autumn" either. The point is that The Crown is about the British Royal Family, so American dialogue sounds silly and improbable.

Oh god. Three Salons at The Seaside (1994 doc) is a very beautiful thing. Non-stop Proustian rush, yes, but also extremely poignant and quite profound. Strongest recommend (it’s on @BBCiPlayer).

RT by @salihughes: Oh God, 3 Salons by The Seaside (IPlayer) is delightful and funny and sad. @phililowthorpe presciently captured a world that by 1994 was already hanging on by its fingertips. Only 40 minutes long and a strong recommend.
