The Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) is a new kind of public transport which operates as both a suburban commuter train and a metro service. Its first two lines opened in 2019, linking Odintsovo to Lobnya, and Nakhabino to Podolsk, respectively, diverting passengers from the metro and reducing congestion on the outbound motorways.
MCD-3 goes from Zelenograd to Ramenskoye, covering a distance of 85 km. It has 41 stations along the way.
