The construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant has been underway since October 2015 as part of Gazprom’s Eastern Gas Programme in the Amur priority development area. The plant processes gas from the Kovyktinskoye and Chayandinskoye fields supplied through the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.

The parties discussed the latest developments around Nagorno-Karabakh. Vladimir Putin noted with satisfaction that the most serious stage of the conflict had been overcome, and he welcomed the agreement, reached with support from the Russian peacekeepers, on the complete cessation of hostilities and on holding talks between Baku and Stepanakert on September 21. The talks will be mediated by the leaders of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
