Key statements:
The number of annual trips around the country must almost double by 2030. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to expand the available range of tourism services;
Tourism opens up new prospects for regions to develop, create jobs, and expand entrepreneurial and creative initiative. These opportunities must be used more effectively;
It is critically important to synchronise tourism programmes with plans to develop transport infrastructure;
It is necessary to actively use advanced technologies to plan trips around the country. It is necessary to create an integral digital platform that consolidates all information about transport, hotels, landmarks, and the work of tour guides as part of the Data Economy national project;
Measures to develop the tourism industry must be included in the relevant national project. The volume of its budget financing in 2025-2030 will account for at least 403 billion rubles;
Domestic companies must continue to remain the state's key partners in the development of the tourism industry. It is necessary to extend those support measures that have already proven their effectiveness during the implementation of the current national project, such as the preferential lending programme for large tourism projects, or subsidising interest rates on loans;
It is proposed to form a separate federal project to manufacture domestic products for the tourism sector (cable cars, attractions for amusement parks, etc.) as part of a relevant national project. The development of tourism must give a large boost for the creation of truly advanced innovations and products in industry, construction sector, and creative industries;
It is necessary to tailor work in the field of tourism to expand the potential of regions, where the level of socioeconomic development is still low.
