The flip flopping this morning is sending me. Why is it not possible for people on tiktok to separate things. Common assault (if that’s what it was) is very different from DV. For someone who doesn’t believe in people being triggered, Angie - the frequent DV detractor and naysayer, is very triggered by the word provoked.
People can’t speak objectively based on the facts. SHE (CA) was the aggressor, SHE went outside to Mandy, SHE then went through her house and out the front to Jay, SHE put hands on him.
There is CCTV - we’ve not seen it. We’ve seen 2/3 stills. Doesn’t show context, lead up, aftermath, anything.
Yes HE was arrested. Doesn’t mean it was for assault. The police hadn’t seen the CCTV they said they’d be back tomorrow to take. Doesn’t mean he is guilty of assault. When drink is involved it’s common for the police to take one or both parties away to diffuse the situation.
Either way we don’t know the facts and it’s not DV so stop framing it that way.

I mean I have different thoughts on this. I was raised in a male dominated, testosterone fuelled environment. I don’t believe or support DV. I believe if I step to anyone, gender aside, then I should expect to receive back the energy I give out.
